NO NEEDLE ALTERNATIVES

Acupuncture is a traditional Chinese medicine practice that involves stimulating specific points on the body to promote healing and balance.

While the foundation of acupuncture lies in manual techniques, modern advancements have introduced various devices that enhance or complement traditional methods. Below is an overview of the primary devices used in acupuncture.

MICROCURRENT ELECTRICAL STIMULATION

Micro Amps are 1000th of a milliamp that is often used in medicine.  Microamps are closer to the intensity used by our bodies.  While it can be used with needles to strengthen the acupuncture effect, it can be applied directly on the skin at acupuncture points as a no needle option.

LOW LEVEL LASTER THERAPY â€‹

Sometimes called red light therapy, cold laser therapy, or photobiomodulation therapy (PBMT).  Light in a near infrared frequency excites a molecule in the energy center of the cells to affect healing.  It can be used to treat acupuncture points or regions of the body.
